3 Steps to Realizing Your Resolutions this Year

January 2, 2012

New Year, new YOU! How exciting!? At least that’s how most people start the New Year, determined to make changes and improve their lives. I would venture to say that most people are excited about the opportunity to forget how hard last year was and hope for a great new year with new possibilities!?

Here are a few tips to realize your resolutions:

1)  Stop Wishing!

Most people keep their desires and goals floating around in their mind, titled, “someday” things, as a child would hold their wishes. If your resolutions for the New Year are not written down, they are mere wishes, not really achievable in your mind’s eye. When you write them down, it gives energy to the manifestation process and brings those things closer to being physical reality. You would not construct a building without written plans. How will you construct the life of your dreams if you do not have a written plan to achieve your goals? If you want your resolutions to come true this year…Write it down!

2)  Find a Partner

If network marketing has taught us anything, it’s that the most amazing things can be accomplished through team work. Truly, nothing is accomplished without the input of several individuals because, the minute you have a partner or a team focused on any goal, you are accountable to be your best. If you want to realize your resolutions, partner with others to achieve a common goal. Apply this principle to your relationship with your spouse and I guarantee you will fortify your bond together and reach heights you never thought possible!

3)  Track Your Progress

Rome was not built in a day. The Great Wall of China, the Great Pyramids, and especially the Grand Canyon, were not created overnight either. The simple fact is, creating the life of your dreams takes time. So, take stock of where you are now and where you want to be, and begin tracking your progress toward your goals. Remember, energy flows where attention goes. Give your attention to your progress and your will realize your resolutions before you know it.

To us, the New Year is a chance to reflect on the past year and look back to our resolutions and goals for the past year and track our progress. Of course there are some goals we set that were not achieved, and there were achievements that far exceeded our expectations. All around, 2011 was much like we predicted it would be, our best year yet! And we anticipate the same for 2012! For us, it’s exciting to see how our lives have expanded as we achieve our goals and build strong relationships with great people. We are looking forward to an amazing year.

Thank you all.
